Qualification for Membership

No person shall become a member of the Institute unless the person has completed an application for membership in a form approved by the Board of Governors. The minimum qualification for membership of Institute shall be as follows: Qualification for Membership as established by the Institute to define and identify professionalism in the areas of Financial Forensics, Forensic Investigation, Fraud Investigation and Financial Crime Management practices. An applicant seeking to become a Member and with it the designation CCFA, CGFA and CFP shall be an individual who has satisfied: The minimum requirements to become a Member; a. The requirements of the membership program as established by the Institute and having achieved the minimum passing score of the qualifying examination as determined by the Institute; and obtain the minimum practical work experience and b. Completed and submitted an application and supporting materials or requirements established by the Institute. c. Annually pay membership dues. d. Annually submit 30 CPD hours. Upon satisfaction of the requirements in this section and acceptance by the Institute, an applicant shall become a Member and be granted the right to use the CCFA, CGFA and CFP Credentials after their names.

Fellow Membership

The FCCFA, FCFP and FCGFA means Fellow, Chartered Certified Forensic Accountant, Fellow, Certified Forensic Professional and Fellow, Certified Global Forensic Accountant, awarded to only those CCFA’s, CFPs and CGFAs who have contributed extraordinarily towards the progress and growth of the Institute. CCFA’s, CFPs and CGFAs with 10 years progressive post qualification experience can apply for fellowship status. The FCCFA, FCFP and FCGFA are the highest levels of membership in the Institute.

Associate Membership

These are CCFA’s and CGFAs who have written and passed the qualifying exams of the Institute and have obtained two years relevant Post qualification professional experience in Forensic Accounting Practice.

Student Membership

Students Membership is open to all students studying for the CCFA qualification.

Corporate Membership

These are Practicing Chartered Certified Forensic Accounting Firms and other Corporate / Academic Institutions that support the objectives of the Association.
